How long is a ride?

Most booked rides cover about over half a day, so a good four hours. But if you wish, a ride can be shorter or longer too. It’s up to you how you would like to spend these hours. That’s what UNUSUAL RIDE is all about. Your briefing is our route book. With that we will design the perfect ride for you.

Can we request a pace limit or a maximum distance for our ride?

Of course. It’s your ride, designed by you and your personal guide. When you request a booking, we will get in touch to get a briefing from you that tells us how you envision your perfect ride. This includes how many kilometers you want to ride and the pace you feel comfortable with.

Why is there a group limit of three?

UNUSUAL RIDE is founded to offer you a unique and exclusive experience. We believe it’s all about the quality and attention that comes with a ride, including the best routes, professional expertise, regional know-how, small groups and personal interaction.
From our experience we know that three is the maximum group size to guarantee you the quality best and attention. You may wonder why this is an uneven number? Your guide equals the group so that no one rides alone when riding in pairs.

What’s included in the price of a booking?

First of all, a brilliant ride with your personal guide based on your briefing. Because that’s what UNUSUAL RIDE is all about: you’re up for a unique and exclusive ride with a local pro!
Then, you ride a dream bike! UNUSUAL RIDE gives everyone the opportunity to ride high-end bikes on the iconic roads of Provence.
You Dress like an elite! With our full custom and sustainable high-end kits, from shoes to helmet, you will be in the trend.
Don’t mind your Refueling! You will refuel along the way with premium energy bars and drinks.
Included in the rides are early kick-off coffees with your guide to discuss the brief of your ride, as well as a break for coffee, tea or drinks at your guide’s favorite stopover and, for sure we will share a cold beer at the arrival point! For all day rides, lunch is at your own discretion.

What happens to a booked ride if the weather is really bad?

Assuming that a drop of rain is not a showstopper for any passionate cyclists, we always want to prevent dangerous situations. Should the weather conditions be causing risk or simply be so lousy that any fun is out of sight, we will find a new date with you.
